Dr. Benjamin Brown

History and Philosophy Teacher

Ben Earned his B.A. in math, computer science and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and his M.A. and Ph.D. in systematic theology from Catholic University of America. He is a full professor at Lourdes University in Sylvania, OH, where he has been teaching since 2005 and has received the faculty excellence award. He has published articles and presented at conferences on various topics of moral theology, the thought of St. Anselm of Canterbury, the work of Raymund Schwager, marriage and family life, justice and mercy, education, leisure, and Catholic social teaching. He has also served on the National Advisory Council for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and on several ecumenical commissions, and he teaches and presents locally on a wide variety of topics in theology and the humanities. Ben has been married for fifteen years to Cindy, and they have five wonderful children. {Let me know if you need something more/different}
