Science & Writing

Lisa has a degree from the University of Michigan in speech and communications. She worked for over a decade with a publishing company, part of that time as a proof-reader/copy editor. She homeschooled each of her own children for several grades and has been involved in homeschool cooperatives since the early 1990s. From 2007 on, Lisa has worked as a professional tutor with St. Augustine HEP and other local cooperatives teaching science, writing, and grammar. She is passionate about teaching and hopes she is the nicest grammar Nazi you will ever meet. She and her husband, Jack, raised five children and have eleven grandchildren.
