Our Cohort Model
Cohorts function as grades and remain together as a small community of eager learners progressing from Pre-Primary I to Upper School IV. While students are divided into cohorts, at the same time, solidarity between all the students is our constant goal, always modeled in class and much aided by daily sports in the lunch hour, as well as in our Runners’ Club.
All cohorts simultaneously explore the historical periods below. This emphasizes our desire to foster community both within the walls of our program as well as at home. When all students study the same time periods, it helps facilitate family discussions and reinforces the material.

Schola
Schola has been an essential part of our program since its beginning almost 20 years ago. Why? Because Beauty is one of the Transcendentals, or Divine Attributes. As we grow close to genuine Beauty, we grow close to God Himself. To make beautiful music is to praise God with the instrument of our bodies. All students join our schola; students with a particular gift or interest in singing, however, have the opportunity to join our Sancta Cecilia Schola. Click here to learn more.
Drama
In Shakespeare's work the essence of human nature is encapsulated along with the moral, spiritual, political, and practical struggles of everyday man. Drama develops a sense of confidence and achievement. It is, surprisingly, often those who are most shy who take flight on stage: to memorize, speak, and understand Shakespeare is a great achievement. Drama is an optional elective for all of our students, click here to learn more.
